I am new to BB and just got my (first) BB Bold 9900 yesterday.
I am struggling with one thing:
BBM - I have 'added' new contacts (that have BBs) from my list with the password/pin sms sent to them i.e. invited them. They do get the messages, and replied by pressing pin etc, but nothing turns up on my phone. On their BBs, it says "Authorization pending" or something, i.e. they are waiting for me to authorize...only problem is, there's nothing (or no-one rather) to 'authorize'.....am I missing something?
Please help if you can!

I have done the following: Update my BBM to 6.1.0...something,, set all BBM settings (in Apps Manager) to 'allow', restarted/ rebooted (battery removal) my phone etc

There is no password/SIM

Open up BBM
Add a Contact
either add their PIN or an e-mail address associated with their device.

If you see the people you want to add;
Add a Contact and scan a QR Code(Camera) or Tap(NFC)

They do not reply by pressing PIN, etc

You have four choices;
Accept, Deny, Ignore, Close

If the person you are trying to add has not authorized you, then you will see nothing from them (unless they send a PIN msg). I really cannot add anymore information than you received from cb.com
