Howzit going?


Is it possible to delete my existing email on my blackberry to have it replaced by another address?

I do not want to add another one.

I am discontinuing my present email account, so is there a function for this?

Use PC and go to your Blackberry Internet Service Account, or here BlackBerry - Smartphone and Email Account Setup if you have not setup. Your current email account will have a Delete on far right. Then click Setup Another Email Account for your replacement.

Thanks Zaksdad, but my e-mail account is set up already.

What's with the blackberry internet service account?
I tried registering from my PC and device through MTN but it keeps failing due to it telling me to register from my device as it doesn't support HTML or something of that sort.

I am really lost now...

I don't have one yet, can't I delete and replace from my BB device?

You know what, I went to ''setup'' and clicked on ''email accounts'' and then clicked on the menu button and it had delete there so I hit that and now will see what happens.

The icon disappeared too, so I hope I dont receive emails on my BB from that email account of mine.

Let's see...

You can do it from the BlackBerry smartphone as well, which sounds like what you did. You're good.
