I read today that Steve Jobs is holding an event next Monday to introduce the new iPhone. Perhaps the website is being updated for that.

Yeah, the WWDC starts Monday, the 9th. It has long been rumored that El Jobso himself will be announcing the 3G iPhone in his keynote speech. We'll see...

I was just told today that the Bold launch is moved back from October 3rd to October
15th.

I wonder if the changed date information came from the same people who said that the 8320 would be available today. All speculation.

The release for the 8320 was on the same sheet as the Bold and it was scheduled for release sometime in October.
