Doubt it, but some day in the future they might. RIM is about making $$$ (sorry, it's true) and there's no money in it for them to support the clients on Linux, especially when they do not have a server part that runs on Linux or works with standards compliant IMAP and iCal servers.

RIM's entire business is based on MS Exchange and Lotus Domino and is solely centered around IT departments running Windows. In corporations like that the desktops run Windows as well primarily, which means there's no Linux penetration.

The Linux users are all guys like us - BIS users (no money it for them), IT nerds (we're used to doing everything by hand anyways), and the like. Hell dude, I can't even recommend a BlackBerry solution to my company because of the lack of IMAP4 support, which is the core of our business (and many, many other people).
