Default Data transfer statistics for Enterprise Messenger

Please Login to Remove!

We are testing out the new Enterprise Messenger that integrates with Microsoft Live Communications Server for corporate instant messaging.

As a user's corporate contact list can be quite large (typically around 70-80 people), and presence status for each of these contacts is updated constantly by the server to the BB, data transfer can be quite high. For our average test user we counted 2000 status updates in 1 business day.

Our provider does not provide an unlimited data plan, so we need to calculate the cost impact of this. Are there any statistics available on the data transfer of a presence status update?
