Default Reloaded new phone with a back up from two weeks ago...

...and I cannot find my themes or games.

Everything transferred, all my info, but those things. I got my email switched no problem, contacts and messages are all there, but no games or themes.

I searched but I don't thinky my keywords and other searches I tried brought up anything telling.

Third party and over the air downloaded applications are NOT backed up as part of the Desktop Manager backup/restore process.

There is a sticky thread on how to back up OTA/third party apps (not that it will help you now)...

I have my old device still, so I could salvage them I believe. Thanks for the information!

yes you can do the device switch wizard in Desktop Manager and transfer all settings, contacts, emails, 3rd party applications, and stored media (internal)

I had tried doing that initially, it would not recognize my old device (though I only tried once and I was a bit impatient to get my blackbery up and running). Now today it is, so I'm taking advantage of that so I can do this properlly.

I'm on the last step right now and I saw the themes and games being transferred, so I'm happy

Yeah, they offered me any of the BlackBerrys and I couldn't stray.

It's just right for me. Those couple days without it made me realize how much easier it made my life. Going back to a small screen and using t9 to type was surprisingly hard after three months on BlackBerry.

And I'll admit, I kissed it when I took it out of the box
