Hello,
I'm looking to get a wired headset. I'm not interested in bluetooth devices yet. If I can't find a good wired one, maybe that's the route I'll go. Anyway, I have a 8300 and am currently considering the ETYxxx8226;COMxxx8482; Handsfree Mobile Phone Headset located here (Etymotic Research, Inc. - ETY-COM Instructions). It doesn't specifically say that it works with BBs, but I've seen others on this forum talking about them. It also has a 2.5mm plug, where my curve has a 3.5mm one. Does it come with or can I easily get an adapter? There is also talk that regular 2.5 to 3.5mm adapters won't work.

Can anyone help with other suggestions?

sorry cant help but am curious why you dont want to use a bluetooth headset.

But it looks like I might have to go BlueTooth, as I'm seeing no other options. The standard 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapters won't work, and nobody has a wired headset that specifically works with the curve. Oh well...

I didn't think I would ever use a wired headset until I noticed how clear the calls were on them. While my Motorola H700does a good enough job, the wired headset that came with my 8700g is amazing. People don't even know I am on a wireless phone.

Thank you, but I should have specified that I'm looking for one with a boom style mic, not an in-line one like this. I got one like this with the phone and while it works fine, it's not that comfortable and people have trouble hearing me on it.
