Hi,

This is how my desktop manager looks, where can I find the apploader?
And how can I check which software is installed on my Blackberry?

Looks like your being restricted by an IT policy. Talk to your blackberry admin.

This is the cd that came right out of the box..

Am I correct when I think that I can update my software on the BB to 4.1 via this apploader?

Yes, you can update your software, however from the picture, you have a administrator who doesnt allow his users to do this. He has locked down this application so that you can not upgrade. Give him (or her) a call and ask them to get your device upgraded.

hehehe,

unfortunatly I am the BES admin (just got tossed in this project without previous bes experience). I found the apploader under c:\program files\ common files\research in motion\apploader

and i've been able to upgrade to 4.1 so this thread may be closed
