Default BB Messenger

Please Login to Remove!

OK, now that everyone seems to have a BB device, I have become interested in the BB Messenger option on my device. I go to BB Messenger, I select ADD CONTACT, I enter an email addy and I get a step that tells to to send an invitation message to that person. A while later I get what looks like that invitation that I just sent. I accept it and then for whatever reason the contact request seems to disappear. What am I doing wrong?

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

Try ensuring that your PIN is showing in each others mailboxes

Also the BB Messenger only talks to other Blackberry's. Which makes it useless for me, I need a messenger app that works across all phone types... so I use GoogleTalk.

Navigate to Settings -> Options -> Status -> Pin.

It is best to save your friends pin in their phonebook entry. There is a space provided for it. Then, when you have a friend with a PIN and Email, it will ask you which method you would like to use to invite them.
