Nope, their has been no CDMA berry with wifi to date.

I've suspected something on the technical side, but I am also very suprised RIM has not found a way around it.. I would hope someone at RIM could pull it off.

(We actually discussed that a few posts above, and even got a bit technical )

Have we seen/heard about the hardware specs on this Berry go as far as processor/memory?

apparently same as the Storm's Hardware, from what I've heard, but then again, we won't really know till one of these guys with the test unit can confirm or get some more info

what would be the some specific advantages to having wifi? is it a speed issue? doesn't vzw include unlimited data in their blackberry fee, so we can already use the browser or IM all we want... right?
I listen to slacker and watch revision3 on the Storm and so far i haven't had any issues or real complaints on the network speed.
Im just curious for the sake of being curious.

Wifi would be nice for when I'm home or in the office where my EVDO signal does not reach me.

but other then that it isn't a big deal for me, just a nice plus having it.

This is the first I have heard about it being a World Phone- is that absolute?

That sounds terribly counterintuitive and counter to everything I've ever heard, unless you have 1/2 bar 3G which is sucking your battery dry, which would be an exceptional case (except that AT&T's network sucks so badly, maybe not exceptional...)

This will be a hot seller in the corp market on VZW as it will be nice for tethering. Does Rev A allow voice and data at the same time?

Another date from a reliable source says July. But we all know how these carriers are at releasing phones on time. :p
