Default 7290 Bluetooth M2500 4.0 upgrade..

I recently upgraded my 7290 and now I can't get my M2500 Bluetooth to work with it. It was working great with the 3.8 OS. Any suggestions?

I saw the same issue with my M2500 headset.

Deleting the device (Options->Bluetooth) and re-pairing the headset with the BB (M2500 security code = 0000) worked for me.

I've had it throw pairing errors on me twice since, but I chalk that up to the "testing" I've been carrying out on my 7290.

BTW: Setting the M2500 as a "Trusted" device (Options->Bluetooth->Device Properties) didn't seem to make a difference.

Hope this helps...

Managed to finally get my M2500 to work in OS 4.0 using the following procedure, which I got from Plantronics' support website:

Q: How do I pair the M2500?

A: Make sure the phone you are going to use is Bluetooth enabled, if so, You need to go into your telephone itself and actually turn the Bluetooth feature on. Then you need to place the M2500 in pairing mode which is holding the Call Control / Answer End button down while rotating the multi function dial upward till the indicator light on the headset starts flashing red then green.

Once the headset is in paring mode (discoverable) then you just need to follow the instructions is you telephones manual to finish the pairing process.

Using this procedure, the M2500 is fully recognized under Options->Bluetooth as a headset, and enabling the "trusted" option allows it to reconnect automatically (using the Call Control button) as it did under OS 3.8.

I have this problem too and I have to delete and re-pair the headset EVERY time I use it - any suggestions before I revert to earlier OS when it worked fine.
