Default A few quick questions

Please Login to Remove!

Is there not enough traffic for a 72xx forum?

Is 71xx and 87xx new enough and that's why they were added? I am not up to speed on the blackberry timeline, but I can guess that the answer is yes.

Just some random questions, figure here would be the best place to ask.

Default My guess is yes

Prior to those devices they were more similarities than differences. In terms of shortcuts, the 8700 is more like the 72xx than the 71xx that is why I went back for my third BB. .

the only devices available at the time this website was created were the 72xx, 77xx and various legacy devices, so the only forum that existed for the devices was the General forum. considering the 77xx and early 72xx devices are all EOL, as well as the legacy B&W devices (67xx, 62xx, 57xx, etc), the General Forum is used for 72xx devices. there's no real point of separating it out, to be honest. as new devices came out, new forums were created - such as the Charm forum (now 7100), then the Rumors forum (which spawned the 8700 forum once it materialized), etc. i don't really think there would be a point in having a 72xx forum towards the end of its product life.
