Default Can't log into Yahoo Mobile email on my BB...

Please Login to Remove!

I've been having a problem for the last few days in which I can no longer log into my Yahoo mail account when using my BB. I'm not trying to push mail or anything like that, I'm merely trying to log into my Yahoo account and for some reason I keep getting the message that my login is invalid.

Thanks in advance

Can you log in to the account on a desktop computer, or is the problem you're having is entering the site from your BB?

If you're on Suretype, try entering the password in multitap mode.

Thanks for the response,

I can log in on my desktop with no problem and up until a few days ago had no problem logging in on my BB, but now I'm unable to do so.

Forgive my ignorance, but I'm not sure what "Suretype" is.

Thanks.

In the time frame you talk about there have been many documented delays & issues with Yahoo mail. I have experienced similar problems.

The solution I chose was to migrate to Gmail. While I would have preferred to not make this change, by the same token I simply could not live with prolonged issues at Yahoo.

If you can log on from your desktop you should have no problem loggig on from your BB... If you are having a prob with suretype, turn it off and put your PW in that way...

Most login pages change to ABC in the PW field

I just tried mine and I got in no problem

I have a BB 7250 and don't use suretype. This problem is very strange as I'm still unable to login to my Yahoo Mail account on my BB. I don't think it's an issue with the BB as I'm able to log into other sites with no problem.

Default Yahoo login incorrect

That is the message I get every time I try to log on to yahoo mail with my 8703e/Verizon.
It has worked perfectly for many months and the log in works every time with my PC.
I have not changed any of my settings except downloading the patch for Daylight Savings.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks

I am having the exact same problem. BB 8700C on Cingular here. My logon to yahoo on my desktop is fine. Cutting and pasting in correct pw doesn't work either.

I am have the same issues for the past week. Call 866-562-7219 for Yahoo support. They say they can't help but there is problem here and they need to know about it. When you call hit 0 and ignore the warning and hit 0 again then you will get a person.

I had issues with both Yahoo Go! erroring out trying to get mail and just loggin into Yahoo via the browser on the BB telling me my password was invalid all weekend and no problems with mail on the PC. Seems to have fixed it self yesterday though.

If you are talking about logging into mobile.yahoo.com to check your email, then I ran into the same problem as well this past week.

You try to login and it will return a message saying "Yahoo! login incorrect" even though the username and password are spelled correctly. Just tried again now and got the same error message on all my yahoo accounts trying to login through mobile.yahoo.com

If I go to the regular mail.yahoo.com on my bb, I can login fine, it seems to just be the mobile.yahoo.com having the problem.

Exclamation Success

I was able to log in today at about 1:00pm EDT after I enabled both Java Script and Java Script Pop UPs in the BB (model 8700C).

Funny thing happened to me at the Tmobile store yesterday, I was in there picking up another phone. A lady came back in who obviously had just bought a new Pearl earlier that day and the sales clerk was trying to help her log into her yahoo account, and they could not... The clerk even got RIM support on the phone and was trying to help troubleshoot it.

Well that seemed to work. Hopefully the bookmark I made works. Because I normally just go to yahoo.com, which redirects to the mobile site.

Same thing has been happening to me since last Thursday, March 22nd.

Yesterday I got the invalid login message, clicked on Yahoo, then clicked on mail, and it showed my mail, even though it had said the login was wrong.

I had gotten an invalid login message previous to this situation, but I just figured it was due to me typing in my password too quickly. When I'd type it in slowly, a second time, it always worked.

It's actually kind of nice using the regular Yahoo mail because I can delete messages without having to upen the message.

Yeah, I wish the mobile yahoo site would allow deletion of emails without having to open them, as well as multiple deletion. mobile.live.com (hotmail) has that functionality and it's great.

You can do this if you use the free Yahoo mail account. It's only the mobile yahoo mail that presents this roadblock. At least that's been my experience.

Yeah, I was specifically talking about the mobile yahoo not having that functionality.

Was able to login earlier to the mobile site, but now it is back to the error message and can't login. So in the past week or two, between this login problem, the BB Yahoo Messenger acting all flaky lately and noticing Yahoo emails sometimes showing up way after they've been sent, I think it's safe to say Yahoo is having a few problems.
