I noticed, today that none of my emails are coming thru to my blackberry address. I believe I've read some threads that other users have posted about similar issues but, I'd like some additional insight on this topic. I've taken almost every step in resolving this issue. Is anyone else experiencing this issue, today also? any advice?

All responses are greatly appreciated.

Try the good ole standards:

- Turn wireless off, then on.
- Hard reset by taking out the battery.

Sometimes, it just needs a kick start.

Question: Is this your own Blackberry or Corporate's? You can have their IT guys look at it. Well, first off, How many bars or signal strength do you have? You need at least 2 bars in order to receive data. One bar means you can use the phone onlybecause of security reasons you need 2 bars. Can you sent out an email from your Blackberry? What is the error message that you are getting. Can you make telephone calls? if not call your provider and ask what's up. From experience I know that cingular doesn't work well in some buildings because of signal strength. Hope this helps.

I use gmail and aol on my 8700g and it's workin fine.. I get my emails faster thru gmail tho... almost like instantly, while on aol it takes like 1-5 minutes sometimes longer. Are you guys experiencing this too with aol?

Default Same Problem (no email on Network Solutions POP)

I have the same problem (not getting e-mails at all) with my 8700c (Cingular). I am running all the latest software (just bought it) and BIS 2.0.

The e-mail I am not receiving is on a Network Solutions account hosted package. I get e-mails to my BlackBerry e-mail no problem. Same with all my other accounts I set up for testing. Just not the critical account.

I am pretty sure it has something to do with Network Solutions as I do not have this problem with other accounts. The NS account is POP.

EDIT: I should probably add that I know that under this scenario (BIS) I do not have "push" capabilitiy. However, this is not even polling my account at this point. I have repeatedly deleted the e-mail and set it up as well as sending the service books to my device.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, we do. It is by design, the polling interval for AOL is 5-15 minutes.

Only Yahoo and GMail emails are delivered almost instantly.

I have tried disabling POP on my Gmail account, then re-enabling it. That worked for a bit.

Then I finally realized that my inbox was ultimately too full, & I deleted a boatload of emails from my Gmail account. So far that has worked, and I have been consistantly receiving emails ever since!
