Default icons on the home screen

Please Login to Remove!

Hiya

Just got my shiny new Bold today but cannot see how to change the icons on the first screen. Can you move these around and added other ones etc?

thanks
Mark.

On the main menu, the top 5 or 6 icons are the ones that will appear on the home screen. Select an icon and press menu button, then "move". Move it to the top row and it will appear on home screen.

With the menu button you can also choose to hide icons that are not frequently used

Can you add new icons? For example if I want an icon to point to a specific web page, can that be done?

Not sure if you can add "shortcuts", unless you can create a service book entry for them. Most of the vendor provided shortcuts are service book entries I think since I do not see them in the OS anywhere. For example, on AT&T you get XM, MusicID, Shop this, shop that etc....
