I am considering leaving BB, but before I do, I would like to read about what issues WM5 users are having with their phones.

I really like the help and interaction of this sight and this forum is probably the biggest thing that I will miss about BB. Is there a good site out their for the Cingular 8125/8525 or WM5 and the like?

Using "Google" I found the Cingular supported site - Cingular/HTC - Cingular Customer Forums

Since the 8125 is the same as the T-Mobile MDA, you might find some stuff on the MDA.

Howard Forums has a decent WM5 discussion area.

People are entitled to try out any technology they like. And THEN they return (quickly) to the BB camp.

WM is fine, unless you don't like blue screens, reboots and slow devices. In which case, it is terrible.

If you think the WM systems sucks, just wait till he gets a load of their romper-room forums. He'll come back to BB just to be with adults again, if nothing else.

I love these posts. I support both windows mobile devices and blackberries for my company. I myself carry the pearl. Now with that out of the way, I have never once seen a windows mobile device blue screen. Have you NJBlackBerry? or do you just have a hatred for all things windows.

I find the blackberry platform to be easier to use, and more reliable. However, there is a trade off like lack of 3rd party programs. We also have a few custom apps that are written in .Net that work on both our corporate computers and mobile devices. Lets see you try that on a blackberry.

The fact is, phones are growing more sophisticated and I would like one that does alot more than email (which cant even send attachments). For my business I need more than functionality, that quite frankly, BB just has not kept up with the times. Once BB can do the following, I will comeback.
- Edit, store, send documents (word, excel)
- Media player
- Store, send Media

Can your Pearl do that?? (dont think so)

Add to that play sirius sat radio and hook to a slingbox and I might reconsider using a blackberry. Blackberry's are ok devices if all you want to do is email. Take it from someone who has owned about every model of blackberry out there and every blackberry connect device. I go through devices every month or so ;)

What type of problem you have. I load our corporate certificate without any problems on all WM5 devices we use at our company. I use the SPAddCert.exe program.

Awesome! I've been searching for the same thing. I, too, will be leaving the BlackBerry for the Cingular 8525, because it has more features that I'm looking for. The whole reason I got the BlackBerry in the 1st place is because of the qwerty keypad because I text like crazy. Since e-mail isn't important for me, I have decided to switch to a device that better suits me. With the ability to take pictures and videos and play videos and the expandable memory so I can listen to music, it really seems like a no-brainer to me. I may come back to the BlackBerry when all those features are integrated into the BlackBerry, then I might be back.

Anyone want to buy an 8700c?

On a review I was reading for the 8525, the reviewer said that you could stream video with the device. I'm not sure if it's a WM5 thing to be able to or more about which device you have.
