Default "Ink spots" on screen of Bold

What can cause dark spots on the screen. I have NOT dropped the BB recently and yet I found some dark spots, like ink smear, on the screen. It is within warranty, but my provider called "warranty" and was told that must be due to excessive pressure. As it is under warranty, I have no insurance and I question how a phone that has not been dropped (it has in the past, but not in a while)
cannot be considered faulty. What's the story here? Are they telling me the truth or trying to avoid exchanging? Other than a rare dropping, I've not misused the phone.

P.S. The first clerk said he thought it would be warrant, he said pressure, or bleeding, would look different. His reasoning:"The screen is whole, no cracks, and slight color (blue) eminates if you look a real shallow angle. Also the black spot stay when you apply pressure to the surrounding area." But he wanted a supervisor to look at it (I had to come back). When I came back, they simply had one of the reps call, and thats when I was turned down for warranty,

Not really sure how to do so. I found a couple pages on screen capture, but they want to send you off to download multiple files. I'll keep looking.
