That's an earlier beta. Even newer ones are still buggy.

So I take it that I should wait a bit longer?

I have no info on that version. I heard that .43 was still somewhat buggy.

I wouldn't go that far. I've heard .48 for GSM devices is pretty well bug free and is a good release candidate across most carriers.

But this is .33, Release 48 : -)

I have read from others in other Betas, the issue of voice quality.

My hope is that we will see improved betas once the initial one is out in the open.

John is talking about .48 as the app version. (4.5.0.48)

Correct. There is an app ver .43 out there. Don't remember the build number.

Just don't "put it out in the open" here.

I have heard that .33 on 8830 has issues like no longer being able to use cap or alt-scroll to select multiple messages, as well as ALT-ENTER no longer locking the keyboard.

I think there were others, but can't remember what they were off the top of my head.

I can confirm that both of those issues exist on the 8830 and the 8330.
Both devices were on BES, so not sure if that's a factor.

well, I might try this beta out on my 8830 tomorrow. I'm really curious to try out 4.5. hopefully it doesn't prove to be too buggy.
