In our test group the v2.2 patch applies over the v1.5 OK. But the DSTquery tool still reports "Awaiting Patch" even though it has been successfully applied. DSTquery does, however, show v2.2 in the "DST 2007 Timezone Patcher" column.

I have seen some suggestions to clear the PIM sync history on all clients with the "Awaiting Patch" issue. I do not see a way to do this when selecting multiple users as has been suggested. Am I looking in the wrong place? We have BES for Exchange 4.0 SP6. Clients are mostly flavors of 4.1 and 4.0.

Thanks

I tested the new app on my device (7130) which had 1.5 installed. The device shows that 2.2 is installed, however after running the query tool, my device still shows as awaiting patch and is at version 1.5. Score!

my issue is that, I had some users in which the dstquery tool reported error, which was correct the patch didn't apply correctly. Then they patched via pc method and now the the BB it showed "2007 patch applied" , but it's not updating the sql database or there is a problem, because re-running dstquery and even using the "clear wilreles backup data" still doesn't clear up the message on the report..

I had the same problem however i cleared the PIM data went for a smoke (this was to prevent death of fellow co-works) came back, slowly but surely things have changed. Before deploying 2.2 i was sitting at a whole 137 devices patched. Now i have 811 and its rising every minute.

Clearing the wireless backup data did eventually allow the DSTquery tool to report the patch as "Applied". However, it looks like you have to open the properties af each user 1 at a time to do this. Is there a way to clear the backup for multiple users?

You can select a whole group using the shift/control keys for multiple or single selections.

I was about 50% through with the 1.5 patch, I put out the 2.2 patch today. Devices are accepting and installing without too much difficulty. It did seem to fix up a problamatic 8700 with 4.1.0.194 firmware.

[QUOTE=AlmostThere]You can select a whole group using the shift/control keys for multiple or single selections.

When I do this from Blackberry Manager, I no longer have "Properties" as an option when I right click. I can only get the properties and select the PIM sync tab when I highlight a single user.

Am I looking in the wrong spot?

With multiple users selected, look in the bottom half of the screen. This is where the client data is displayed for single users. Click on the service control and customization screen you will see the clear option there.

I am able to do this.... running 4.1.3. I can select multiple users, right click, and choose to clear the backup data for all selected users. Looks like it's a version issue as to whether you can do this or not.

Here is a quick query you can run to see who has 1.5 installed. Just go to excel and run this if you dont have sql on your pc.

SELECT vHandheldInfo.UserConfigId, vHandheldInfo.ServerConfigId, vHandheldInfo.MailboxDN,
vHandheldInfo.DisplayName, vHandheldInfo.PIN, vHandheldInfo.TableId, vHandheldInfo.RecordTimeStamp,
vHandheldInfo.Data, vHandheldInfo.ServerTime, vHandheldInfo.Active
FROM BESMgmt.dbo.vHandheldInfo vHandheldInfo
Where vHandheldInfo.Data like '%net_rim_bb_timezoneotapatcher%1.5%26516%'

If you want to know who has 2.2 run this

SELECT vHandheldInfo.UserConfigId, vHandheldInfo.ServerConfigId, vHandheldInfo.MailboxDN,
vHandheldInfo.DisplayName, vHandheldInfo.PIN, vHandheldInfo.TableId, vHandheldInfo.RecordTimeStamp,
vHandheldInfo.Data, vHandheldInfo.ServerTime, vHandheldInfo.Active
FROM BESMgmt.dbo.vHandheldInfo vHandheldInfo
Where vHandheldInfo.Data like '%net_rim_bb_timezoneotapatcher%2.2%27800%'

Of course one of the reasons to deploy v2.2 of the patch is to eliminate the reporting errors and eliminate the need to clear the backup data for any users...

anyone know of a way to clear the stats on 4.0 BES... choosing multiple accounts instead of 1 by 1?

I am on 4.0 and can hold shift, select multiple accounts, and click "Purge Pending..." under Service Control & Customization. Make sure your little preview pane is open at the bottom or you won't see any options.

I was told by support the ability to right click on people was added in 4.1.3. Just an FYI.
