Update: Once you install the OS onto your PC, go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall RIM Internal Apps 5.0. If you leave this installed on your PC, when you update your device Qunicy will get loaded up too (RIM's beta tracking program)

Facebook doesn't work... BBM doesn't work... along with other apps and themes. But, other than that, it's functions much more smoothly. Once all the apps catch up with the 5.0 os it will be the sweetest update in a while.

BBM 5.0 is not included in the OS build. It will also remove the 4.7 version on your BB. You need to install BBM 5.0 separately. It installed fine for me, but aside from a lot of apps not working (it also deleted Yahoo messenger on me), I was getting a lot of exception errors when I tried running different things (like doing a Google search in the browser).

I ended up rolling back to 4.7.151.

Maybe the fact that applications - including some written by RIM - don't work on it yet. Once they work, it will be closer to release. Still a ways off.

After 24 hours i have also gone back to .151 My music wouldnt play, just kept saying "unable to play content" BBM worked just had to download the latest version online. facebook,myspace didnt work. I really didnt care about that but if I cant play my music I'll go crazy. Lets just wait for a better release or a hybrid which should be in the works as we speak...

Also, there is another screen layout called "Today" in the Home Screen Preferences.
I also found there are two more font sizes in screen/keyboard options "5 & 6"
Also in the media folder, click on the app menu then Memory Use, and click on the details. It gives a break down of what is taking up the memory.

What about the radio files. Anyone who tried it and is using T-mobile, have you experienced any EDGE to edge issues? I am still running .132 because it was the most stable with my .90 radio file.

Finished installing this on my Storm a couple hours ago. It's obviously a little buggy, but that's to be expected. I will say though that it looks like the developers are headed in the right direction of where this OS should be.
