Default switched from vzw 8330 to sprint 8330

Please Login to Remove!

Well after 3 days of VZW's 8330 I switched to Sprint. I was paying 99.99 from VZW for 900 cell and unlimited BB service. I switched to Sprint's 8330 for 99.99 unlimited EVERYTHING! Even tether and EVDO!

Wirelessly posted (At&t curve)

That sprint unlimited deal is really amazing if you can deal with their bad cell service and lack of customer service.

That might depend on your area. I've had Sprint before and the cell service wasn't bad. Not as good as Verzion, but not bad. And Yes the Customer service at Sprint can use some more knowledgeable support ppl and clearer English speaking help.

i purchased a pearl for my fiance on verizon to use there 30 day trial period. when i told her it only had like 400 minutes or something like that for 99 a month she said thans but no thanks. So we picked up a sprint centro for her with the simply everything plan.

you better believe you will get a bill for about 40 bucks in the mail from verizon. i had the phone a total of 2 or 3 days and the lady on the phone said i still had to pay for those days of use (3 maybe 4 calls) which came to about 40 dollars. rediculous.

I thought that they offered " try it on us and well pay for your call if you don't like it"

The fine print for the worry-free guarantee is that they only pay for it IF you port your number out. If you just cancel the account and let them take the number back, then you have to pay.

Unless Sprint changed it, PAM is NOT included with the everything plan.... Just thought you would want to know that. Also, it is only for BIS, not BES... Its another $20 for BES

I ported my number to Verizon and will take it to Sprint, so I guess I get it for free?

I stand corrected, EVERYTHING except BES. Any Calls in and out, BB internet service, text mess, video mess, Navigation, tethering, Sprint TV, Sprint Music, email are included for 99.99. Not many other providers offering this for that pricing in my area.

Can someone clarify the Sprint service? I'm looking of switching to AT&T or Sprint unlimited and getting the Blackberry Curve. AT&T will run about 160 monthly with all the services including Nav. I've spoke w/2 Sprint reps...one told me it's 99 monthly and another told me it's 99 montly plus the BB service? Does anyone know? Also any suggestions on Sprint vs AT&T? I had Sprint service previously and hated the customer service not to mention they didn't have unlimited then....

See my above post. 99.99 includes EVERYTHING except BES, But it does include BIS. If you have to have BES then it is 19.99 extra. For me personaly ATT suxs for my area, dropped calls and no cell connection, but the BIS works ok. But keep in mind that Sprint uses EVDO which is a faster connection than ATT. But you also need to deal with the half wits at Sprints customer service.

I stand corrected. No tethering. I had a live chat with a Sprint Customer service rep and they told me it was included, but after looking though the Sprint web site I see that it is NOT included with the simply everything plan.

Sprint has its issues. For your deal, maybe it was worth it.

i'm very suprised that there isn't a way to use tethering without buying their service. it seems like a type of functionality that should be capable regardless...

Just so you know, Sprint's Simply Everything Plan doesn't offer Phone as Modem or Tethering....so, be careful. It may let you do it, but you may get charged out the whazoo!!

Sprint Nextel - Helpful Information

oops, I see you already found out....sorry about the repeated info!!!

I would think you could add the tethering (PAM) for $15. This is what I do for my users when they have the $69.99 Worldwide BlackBerry data plan. That plan does not include PAM, so I just add the $15 PAM feature and it works like a charm.

and you are basing this on what? did you know sprint and verizon are both CDMA and that sprint roams on Verizons network for free. so if sprints service sucks that means verizons does as well (no i personally don't think verizon sucks just making a point).

maybee you feel better about having verizon and paying more, by bashing sprint. Are you compensating for something?

people need to understand sprints phone and data service does not suck. Sprints customer service sucks. get it right.

lovin my new curve 8330.
