Unhappy 7230 stuck on hourglass on startup HELP

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I am having a big problem with my blackberry, whenever I turn it on I get a rotating hourglass and it will just stay like that for hours and hours. I tried a hard and soft reset but with no lick :( does anybody have any suggestions? I was thinking of maybe formatting the OS and reinstalling it but am not sure how to go about that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh yea I upgraded to the latest OS and it worked great for a day or two. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Yanni

I had the same problem with a 7239 last week. Replacing the card fixed it.

I spoke too soon. Now I have a 7230 with the hourglass and changing the card isn't helping. Plus the exec needs it in 45 minutes. RIM tech support will keep me on hold for 50, so does anyone here have any ideas?

Unhappy did you ever find a resolution?

I have a 7100T model that is doing the exact same "rotating hour glass" thing. Pls advise if you found a fix; replacing the SIM card, battery did not work.
thanks!

Might be too late, but if you have a backup, plug it in and try to wipe it with javaloader and reload.

My 7100t started doing this after I upgraded to OS 4.0 and reboot.

What is javaloader and where can I get it?
