Default 8830 and 8 GB Micro SD Card

Please Login to Remove!

Has anyone attempted to see if the 8830 will take the 8 GB card? I know the specs on the device say 2 GB, but Verizon stores sell the 4 GB for it, so what's another 4 Gig?

Has anyone tested an 8 gigger on the 8830? They are only $89 now.

Thanks!

There are three different speeds. This link takes you to the fastest and most expensive of the three. Someone get it and try it out for me.

This link is for a 8GB SDHC. The 88xx series BBs require a micro SDHC. The largest micro SDHC available is a 4GB with 8GB promised "soon".

This may be a dumb question, but if it states "up to 2GB" will the 4GB card that's available now still work on it ? I'd boost to a bigger card if it actually worked !

First off, welcome to the site! Now to business.....yes, a 4gb card will work. Familiarize yourself with the search function as there are quite a few threads on this and instead of waiting for someone to reply you would've already had your answer. I hope that doesn't come across as mean or impatient, just wanted you to know that you could have your questions answered quicker by learning to use the search function really well, as well as becoming more familiar with the layout of the forum which will also help you get answers more expeditiously.
