Default impossible to send or receive an email

I bought BlackBerry Z30 on bestshop-usa.com
Recently I noticed that it's impossible to send or receive an email. Please help, if anybody had the same problem.

Do you have a data plan T-Mobile allows for the service you have?
a Z30 uses a standard data plan but you must have one.

questions

Did it ever work?

What service for the email? Yahoo etc.

Does it work for other apps? like what?
