Default Did anyone use ipad charger to charge Playbook?

My beautiful PB charger is dying, it is not charging properly, it may have something to do with the connector because it was used a lot while being charged by kids and probably was bent a lot..

Anyway, ipad charger has USB port on it, so I could just use the USB cable to plug, but I am worried about amperage and voltage, but it is still USB port..

I am now using a 1A charger from my wife's android phone but it is taking forever to charge, while it charges BB's fine.

I don't know about using an iPad charger but you can get the PlayBook rapid charger that doesn't use the usb port at a very good price on Amazon.

The Playbook charger is a 1.8 amp charger.

The Ipad charger is available in 3 different types 5 watt, 10 watt and 12 watt.
Depending on which you have it could be the reason for the slow recovery.
The standard OEM Playbook charger looks to be a bit more powerful.
