Exclamation led light blinking for no reason!!

Please Login to Remove!

My bold 9700 led is blinking for no reason. No new notification, msgs, mails or anything and it blinks. It blinks seven times repeatedly and then stops for a while then blinks again n again.

I have no weather apps no twitter installed or any app has to configure the led option. My led network coverage indicator is off.

What can I do to get the led back to normal guys?

Thanks a lot.

What color is the light, and how much charge is on the battery (Options / Status will tell you that).

You never said it was red.
Re-read your post.

Have you done a battery pull?

I've had that problem a few times after installing/uninstalling apps. A battery pull (or soft reset) fixed it.

Guess I missed it - oops - you never wrote that it was red. In any event, have you tried the battery pull (double checked to see if you wrote that).

What third party apps ARE installed?

What applications do you have hided? This happened to me once when I had the main messages folder hided since I thought I would receive notifications over each app for separated... but "Blackberry Registrations" and other messages came thru that and I figured it out after a while...

Check your hidden apps.

Scroll through your main messages folder to see if there is an update notification from the Blackberry App World for one of your applications. Most times you get a notification icon for them but the last time I had one, it was doing what you're describing. Blinking red and I had no clue why until I accidentally stumbled across it in my messages when I scrolled down to look for an email.
