I don’t have addition memory yet, but when I try to transfer music file to the device memory it says “The size of the file exceeds the maximum file limit of the BlackBerry device memory.” Is there a limit on file size to transfer to the device memory?

it's just a little over 2MB for device memory.

2.83mb, I believe, is the limit to the device memory.
