Installing BlackBerry Unite! software
BlackBerry® Unite!xxx8482; software installs quickly and easily on most desktop computers.

Your computer must remain in a full-power state for BlackBerry Unite! software to function. You should disable low-power states on your computer.

To install the BlackBerry Unite! software, complete the following steps:

Double-click the installation file.

Click the Unzip button to extract the installation package.

Click the OK button when the extraction process is complete.

Click the Next button to start the setup wizard. The setup wizard displays the software it will install on your computer.

Click the Install button to continue.

Select your country or region from the list to display the license agreement. If you accept the terms, select I accept the terms in the license agreement.

Click the Next button.

When the installation process is complete, click the Finish button to start the registration process.

You must accept the Microsoft® ActiveX® control to complete the registration.

Connect your BlackBerry smartphone to your computer using a USB cable.

Enable mass storage mode on your BlackBerry smartphone.

Click the Next button.

Type your first name, last name, and email address into the registration form. Select your country from the country list and type the visible characters into the Word Verification field.

Yeh Dawg, tell me about it...Its typical of this machine...this machines whole function in life is to be a print server, when you try to install something like this (which I would have though would be simple) it never works...even when I try to uninstall and then reinstall, it doesnt work

I am going to wait for Unite 2.0 to come out with all of these fixes implemented so I dont have to muck around with this table or that table...etc.

Default SQL Server Won't Install

DISREGARD...I FIGURED OUT MY PROBLEM......SORRY FOR ANY TROUBLE.....I'm having a problem with the install. My machine meets the minimum requirements and I'm using XP. During the install, at the point it starts to install the MS SQL Server I get an error box that states "Setup Failed to Config Server" and then another box that says to check the log. I have included the end of the log. If anybody wants the entire log please email me and I will get it to you. Again thanks for any assistance....

Disregard my previous post. While getting the previous post ready I spent some more time looking at the log and found that I just needed to delete some files. It installed like a champ after following the directions. Go figure, I can actually be taught. Sorry for any trouble.....looking forward to playing with Unite....
