I actually went back to .147 from .150 for now. I think it's a little more stable. I'll upgrade again when .154 or above is out in the wild.

I would hold off on .154... memory leaks are still rampant (perhaps this may end up being an accepted 'norm'). 33MB just now (1 day of usage) and a reboot gives me back another 9MB (up to 42MB). I've also lost my Precision Zen theme option (although I selected AT&T and then restored from backup and then I was back at Precision Zen, although it's not in the list of available themes - very odd).

Thanks jibi. I'll clean out the garage and make room for patio furniture instead of searching online for .154 this weekend!

So you're running .154 now? Did it give you more memory like .150 did?

How is .154 ?

Is it better than .150 ?

Any major improvement or change ?

I noticed that on .150. If it installed all vendor themes the non vendor precision zen was not listed even though its cod file was installed. When I re-loaded and did not load vendor themes then the normal precision zen showed up again.
Also if I do a clean load with application loader (erase everything) I lose all preloaded media (ringtones, backgrounds, etc) and have yet to find a way to get them back. Again .cod files for them are all on the device and even manually loaded them with javaloader.

Hmm. Good catch. Unloading the vendor themes now.

@akc, I never loaded .150, to be honest. I've not had many issues with the OS for a while now and keeping an eye on memory is not a big issue (occasionally, such as earlier, I will reboot it to see how much it frees up). There's obviously a memory leak (33MB to 42MB on reboot), and I know of a few .net-based forum sites I frequent that still die on the sight of the Bold's browser. There's also a popping noise that happens just before I get notified of a BBM - I don't remember that on .147.

...and if anyone wants to go searching, it's platform 4.0.0.152 and package 282. Just in case.

I haven't had any bluetooth issues at all on .150 - at least none that I've hit.

My only complaint there is that my Jawbone wasn't able to connect to media player as an option (as I found out by blasting a bunch of nearby people on a plane, recently, thinking the sound would go via my headset).

In New Zealand I was constantly self-rebooting, interestingly enough, on the Vodafone 3G network while roaming. I suspect it may be because the phone is trying really hard to connect to ANYthing that it reboots itself (the NZ phone networks are really in need of some love).

PS: platform 4.0.0.152 would be great to try out while I'm roaming - there should be a special format of Google for beta software searches which auto-excludes rapidshare.co.uk and that guy who keeps testing every IP address known to mankind.

Have you considered how mean it is to tell us "here's the latest" knowing fully that the plebes out there won't see it for about two weeks at best, if ever?

And - to make it worse - you have the release and "never loaded .150, to be honest".

I have the theme song from The Grinch running through my head....
