Default Do BWC emails go through the BES?

Sorry if this is a repeated question, I tried searching before I posted, but turned up nothing. Do my BWC mails go through the BES? I've got a OS3.8 7290, am currently receiving corporate mails on my company's BES (ver 2.something). My concern is whether my BWC emails (personal) go through the BES, or whether there's some way my company can monitor those transmissions. Of course PIN is the best, but not all my friends have Blackberries.

They don't go out via the BES. Those ServiceBooks on the Bberry control where things go from - if you're using the WebClient email profile, it goes out over that connection.
