Default Email Question

Please Login to Remove!

I have been using my blackberry for quite sometime now and I am wondering how does one go about and seperate all the email that comes into the blackberry. What I am asking is all the mail comes into one location and I have the email account setup for different emails but the email always come into messages area. I thought it would go to the perspective email folder setup through the provider's blackberry email setup? Am I doing somehting wrong, can some please help?

Thanks!

Well, I'm not sure about "separating", but when you go into the co-mingled mailbox you can go to the search "Services" option and select "Desktop" for your Exchange email or your other email (email address will be listed) or "All Serivces" to search both/all. So by selecting one or the other and no other options it will segregate the mailbox, if only at least temporarily.

It is not possible to separate the main messages folder. It will always show all your messages. You can, however, have all the BIS messages go into a separate folder if you are on BIS 2.0 or greater. But even on BIS 2.0 ALL emails will still go to the main Messages folder, too. To upgrade to BIS 2.0 and have the individual folders you can log into your BIS site or call your service provider and have them upgrade you.
