Default Enabling Java

Please Login to Remove!

I have searched and I am afraid that I am not smart enough to get the terms right to find the answer:

We have two Curves with Internet service (no BES). Both Curves are telling us that we need to enable Java. I thought that was sort of automatic. We are both running 4.5.0.81.

I appreciate the help.

When we do a search and go to the web page usually. If not on the first click, then going one deeper will give us the Java must be enabled message.

Your Javascript is probably off. You can change this in the browser options. Also, you cannot view Java content on your BlackBerry via the browser, so if you are trying to play Java games online, it will not work (just as it won't work with Flash & Shockwave, I mean, come on, RIM, WE NEED FLASH)

Nope, no games. Your suggestion fixed the problem. I knew it was there, just not how to get to it.

The problem was with Java-heavy sites - mostly news papers that were changing copy hourly and have all of those pop-ups. I enabled Java and left unchecked the box for pop-ups. We will see how this works.

Thanks again!
