new to bb, i have downloaded on phone.. it keeps telling me service not enabled for this handheld..... anyone else have this issue and if so what did you do to resolve?

Are you able to use the other data functions such as send/receive emails, browse the internet?

If you are not able to do these things then perhaps your plan with BELL does not include the Blackberry Internet Service.

I use to be with Bell, and I will say this.

If you get one of their smartphones, they pretty much force a data plan on it or make you pay a ridiculous initiation fee.

What package do you Have? I'm pretty sure he has a data package, Bell dropped their prices on their Data packages, pretty darn cheap now, cheaper than telus that's for sure!

Becarefull with Bell. They are very deceptive. They like to add charges that don't exist, and you are applicable to change your plan 2wice a year however, if you move OFF a data plan with a smartphone with bell, they slap you a $90.00 fee which is not in the contract, but they do it anyways.
