I had the exact same problem when I installed 8.0.1on my 8820, but I installed 8.0.5 yesterday on an 8820, 8310 and an 8800 and it worked just fine. All 3 are AT&T units.

The website now says free until 1/1/2010 so thats over 26 months before you will need to worry about a fee.

Am I missing a setting, or does it just not display scrolling maps when driving?
Or the name of the street you are to turn to?

Default gps

I recently downloaded the gps sensor to my 8700 and the GPS sensor cannot be located. I have read the reviews and still cannot locate the internal gps. Can anyone help?

It seems to work much better on my 8700, much easier to select things and navigate.

While they show support for the 8820, I've tried it several times. I have set it to use the internal GPS, but it can never find any satellites. I've tried it inside and out. I can exit the program and do a Refresh GPS from Options and see anywhere from 5 to 9 satellites. But Nav4all never sees any on this phone. Every other GPS program I have tried works fine. I think I'll stick with InfoSearch FindIt for now.

It also finally allows the internal GPS on 88XX devices to work!

(or at least it does on my t-mo 8800) ;)

Has anyone been able to get this to work on a Sprint CDMA Blackberry? The install went fine, however it says it can't find the bluetooth gps. Is there anyway to get it to use the internal gps?

Thanks.

Ver 8.0.6 has solved the "Searching for GPS" problem on the 8820. Now to see how well this program actually works.....
