I use this site, has worked so far for me. You input your phone and carrier and it will tell you what your options are. Once you get the text message redirecting you to the download site you have it in about ten formats. Click them one by one until you find the one that works (and remember it for the future).

You can't upload anything larger than 512kb. Your ringtones shouldn't be more than 250 kb anyway.

The upload web site can be used with any wap capable device. It is not limited only to Blackberries.

Yes on the mono, No on the CDMA. It is IDEN. I think you are thinking of the 7250.

Sorry to bring up an ancient thread, but AT&T Research has changed the website. You can now create Ringtones for BBs that accept Wav files directly from your BB.
