Default Blackberry Maps for pearl 8100

Please Login to Remove!

hi can any1 help me?
well you see I have a bb pearl 8100 that is originally from Rogers, however I had it unlocked so I could use my Fido sim card.. And the application BB Maps for my pearl.. when I click into it.. all i see is blank screen that I scroll around on it. When I click on "Go To" under options and enter an address, it just says a Network problem encountered. Under the normal Options > Advanaced Options > TCP > APN: i typed in wap.pinstack.com and left the username and password empty and under Host Routing Table and i clicked Register now and it says Registration message sent! I believe that all the files corresponding to BB maps is already up and loaded and the modules.. however I cant figure out how to work it.. if any1 can help me out that would be kool. thanks!

I have the same problem. My carrier is Fido and I am not able to access the GPS map.

Do I need a dataplan to access this?

If someone can help, that would be great.

thanks

You do need a data plan in order to use BlackBerry Maps.
