Hi

Is it possible to pre-configure some master device settings on an 8700
such as removing blackberry messenger/brickbreaker and then push this template out to new blackberrys wirelessly?, (I dont mean policy settings)
I have looked into application control policy but this doesnt seem to to wirless scenario? I am using BES ver 4.0.

And the answer is no.

You can block these apps using a software configurtion policy. you'd need to get the .cod files for these apps and then create a .alx file for them. Then you could index them and set the disposition to disallow.

how do you obtain those COD files if the app was installed wirelessly?
