Do you know when 4.1 is coming out for the 7100?

Whoa! Are you serious? I've NEVER had a prob w/ the hold time on TMO.
Just be glad you don't have any of the other carriers. Cingular's hold time is horrendous. Perhaps you're calling at peak times, but even still I've never held for more than 5 minutes and I'm constantly calling them. If it's a recent prob, you might experience a longer hold time b/c of the holiday season.

Newbie here.

I have a question. Forgive me if it's been answered in another post.

I support about 30 BlackBerry 6230's at my firm. I have not seen this problem on any of them, except my 7230.

I am on the web client. An email will come into my Outlook 2002 (Exchange 2003) inbox. A few minutes later it will appear on my BlackBerry. No problems there. Let's say a few hours later I reply to that email, from my Outlook inbox. Within a few minutes the same ORGINAL email that I received earlier will again come to by BlackBerry, as it would if it was a new message that I received. I don’t' think this is the case on every single email that my Outlook receives, but quite a few for sure.
Any ideas???

Thanks

If my bb 7100 needed to be replaced, would they replace it with a 7105? Or would they give me another 7100? And also, at what point do they replace the unit with another one?

Unless they have a different policy for PDA's and handhelds then they do for other equip, they won't upgrade unless you have 3 consecutive defective devices of the same make/model. Been there, done that. I finally told them to forget it and I just paid full price for a new unit. Again, this was for a non-pda/non-handheld.

Unhappy 7105 replacement

Newbie here....

I have been having some issues with "Device not found" with my BB7100t. Received a replacement from TMO and asked about replacing my 7100 with the 7105. They would not send the newer model claims no inventory of refurbs to send out until the 7100 refurbs are exhausted. Good luck if you can get a 7105.
BTW I still cannot connect my 7100t to my desktop manager. Any ideas? TMO has tried everything including trying to wipe my original device which also failed.

Did TMO have you uninstall and reinstall the software? Does Windows detect the BB? Try uninstalling, then browse to: C:\Documents and Settings\*whatever username you login as*\Application Data (may be hidden)
If there is a "Research In Motion" folder, delete it.
I have had similar problems, and this seems to have done the trick.

Default Thinking about switching

I have a very dumb but a very simple question.

I want to sign up for the TMO Blackberry Unlimitied plan and then wait one year before migrating my phone number and adding a voice plan. (I have to wait a year because I'm still under a contract with my current provider. Will I be able to do this? Also, does TMO allow unlimited night and weekend on Blackberry + Voice plans? That would really help me out.

Thanks.

With that issue you will need to have TMobile send the OTA message back to your blackberry. It didnt register correctly on the network. Once you receive that your number should be displayed.

Hello,

I have a few Blackberry users and they want to get their Exchange 2003 emails ot their Blackberries devices(7100). I dont want to buy a Blackberry Ent server, I am going to setup forwarding for both in their exchange email user acct to their blackberry email (external recipient),
Can they reply back from their blackberry device so the "From" is from their Exchange company email address and not the blackberry email address?

thanks

Steve

Yes they can from the way you set it up on the BlackBerry web Client. If its an email they are replying to, on the tmobiile 7290, it automatically replies from the address it was sent to. However when composing a new email, you can select which account to use.

Another question...

w/T-Mobile service, and my Blackberry 7290, I don't see anywhere a notification that I have voicemail waiting. Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I've got a question for you..

Why does the T-Mobile BIS site not accept usernames as a full email address?

My hosted e-mail lives on a box with about a billion other accounts and domains, and to check the e-mail via POP3, I have to use the format "user@domain.com" to log in. The website rejects that as invalid, as it is looking for the "user" portion of the address, but the username is the entire e-mail address.

Its been frustrating me for weeks.

Any ideas?

Closing the thread. If you have questions, make them in another thread. The T-Mobile support rep no longer posts in this topic.
