I'm just trying to keep the forums from becoming overcrowded with more subcategories. I was against the creation of a 7100 forum too.

People are confused enough as it is. Why are we letting people make posts in the BB Guides area? Aren't those just for documentation.

Time for some vigilante justice!

I think Nextel might just deserve it's own area due to the large number of haters out there. I have had my phone called everything from a "cancer phone" (because it causes interference with EVERYTHING) to a "ghetto redneck construction worker phone" (no explanation necessary). I never use DC out loud in public, but so many others do that when people see us carrying Nextels, we get dirty looks.

Also, side note on 7520 sightings...

The mouse house here in Florida went over completely to Nextels a while back. Almost every cast member has a Nextel on them now. This last weekend I noticed that the supervisor types were all carrying 7520's. Probably saw thirty or forty people with them there.

People are confuse because the phone categories are scattered all over the place LOL Especially the 7520 HA!

If there were section for a nextel, cingular, and what ever other carriers there are, then there could be sub categories or stickis for phones that fall under that service provider.....simple. then there wouldnt be unwanted posts in categories where they dont belong......well im sure there would be some but Im also sure that there wouldnt be near as many. Oh no what would Dog do then ahhhhhhh NM.
I know for one my posts are in like 5 diferent categories and all i have is a 7520.

Fair's fair -- now that the 7100's been released (it has been, hasn't it?) it's time to merge that forum into this one. Having a seperate forum for "on the horizon" stuff is nice because grouchy members can yell at all the drive-by newbs who don't pay attention and post in this forum. Same for the 8700 when it's released.

Thumbs down Service Book

I thought i would post this because i havent found anything in the threads about it. I recently had to wipe my 7520 and when i installed the new OS (4.0) I lost my browser icon, and my bluetooth icon. Everythread i could find said to solve this problem in the service book. My service book says something really cool!!

i have a question about the nextel 7520, my wife just switched from tmo to nextel blackberry ( she is not even close to happy with tmo nationwide voice coverage)
is there a way to get the blutooth confirmation request to "not ask every time" like my 7290 does?
Also is there any way to get more volume from the bt headset it is horrible on my 7290/ havent tried her 7520, but she is not happy with the volume. I have used the search button to no avail
