Question Wireless message reconciliation : disabled

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I've a litlle issue with my BES 4.1.4.12.

Yesterday I've add a new user to my Blackberry server.

The Enterprise activation ended well and everything seemed to be normal.

But the new blackberry device doesn't sync wirelessly.

And for this user I can see on the server:

Wireless message reconciliation : disabled

I've checked the BES wireless reconciliation option and it's ok.

All the other users work fine, the blackberry device is up to date since it's running 4.1.0.39 software version.

I can't figure out what's going on...
Do you have any ideas?

Thanks in avance

Have the user enable wireless reconciliation on the device.
It's probably turned off.

You might also try resending the service books or reactivating the device.

Yes penguin3107, if you're talking about the wireless signal. it's turned on.

I mean I have a GPRS signal with capital letters, and I'm able to surf the Internet from the Blackberry.

I already tried to reactivate the device wirelessly or directly from the BES server using a USB cable. All my attempt failed.

No, that's not what I'm talking about.

Have the user check the Wireless Email Reconciliation setting on their BlackBerry device.
It might be turned off.

Messages > Options > Email Reconciliation > Wireless Reconcile = ?

I will need to reactivate the Blackberry using the cable to get this option.I've just wiped it out.

I will let you know as soon as possible.

Thanks for your help.

All right,

I've updated my BES Server and installed the MR2.
It's now a little better since the setting :

Wireless Message Reconciliation is Enabled. (on the BES)

I did a cable activation, the activation went throught without any error.
the wireless email reconciliation is enabled too on the blackberry device. (under Messages > Options > Email Reconciliation > Wireless Reconcile)

Everything looks good on the paper eept that I can't receive or send email from the BB device.

I tried to send again the addresse book and policy but both don't work.

I'm going to leave the issue like that for now because I've other things to deal with and it's already 4 pm in France.

Thanks for your help Penguin,
I'll post the answer when I'll find it.
Good weekend
