Okay, so I've noticed that my indicator normally flashes red when there is an alert, and blue when I've connected to bluetooth.

Are there other colors? How do I access them? And how can I customize this, if at all?

i last time downloaded the pearl trackball colour changing software and downloaded to my bold and when the phone is in active mode it changes to 2 or 3 extra colour if not mistaken pink,purple,magenta,blue and red.i only used for 7days as i downloaded the trial version.so best of luck

BBalerts will let you set to multiple colors, it also lets you configure 3 custom RGB colors for alerts

shows green/red when phone is off and charging, then shows green when charged.

Thanks for the info on BBAlerts. The Handango site says it's pretty buggy for the Bold, but I will give it a whirl.

I'm using 1.65 on my Bold, no issues at all with it.

Thanks for the info, everyone. I gave the trial a whirl. I still haven't figured out how to customize my facebook and yahoo messenger alerts.

I dont think you can customize facebook and yahoo msg alerts with BBalerts
