hi all,

quick question for you. i just bought a brand new bold from at&t and am planning on using it with t-mobile. i already have the unlock code, but havent unlocked it yet. should i update the firmware and then unlock it, or unlock it and then update the firmware?

any suggestions?

It wont make any difference. Unlock it and then you can update to latest o/s release. Any o/s will work regardless of carrier. Just make sure you delete the vendor.xml file before updating.
