This build is much more stable than previous builds. No reboots, good battery life, no volume issues in media player and all my third party apps work great.

Yeah but now they work even with grouped messages set to "off".

Is anyone able to answer my original post? Has the "Escalating" option been fixed in the alarms?

I've never used this feature before, but I just tested it and it seems to be working.

No problem at all. On a side note, I set the alarm to snooze and it didn't escalate when the snooze alarm went off. I'm not sure if this is normal behavior for the snooze alarm, but figured I would give you the heads up.

I've been on .234 for a few days now, and it's been solid. I was hesitant to move off of .210 because of all of the people reporting buggy upgrades with the OS's between then and now, but this one is well worth the try.

I wonder if this build will be adopted by one of the carriers? The last "official" build is .216, to my knowledge.

And already .237 is out--are there bugs in .234 that we don't know about? I haven't found /any/ problems with .234 so far (3 full days).

Currently have .228 and it works great on the Bold. Far less memory loss than any OS I've had. Everything is working just fine with the exception of "live search" but I did find Ponyt....it works pretty well. One question, .234 is out there for download..What does it bring to the table that .228 doesn't all ready have. It would be nice each time we had an upgrade someone would let you know what was improved over the last OS or is it posted and I just can't find. Hate to leave such a good OS if the next upgrade doesn't have more bells and whistles.....

Apparently .234 fixes some remaining bugs with volume control, memory, battery life, etc., mentioned above. No, Live Search still doesn't work. I find the search function within Google Maps to work very well, though.

Otherwise, .234 has the least problems of any of the several betas I've tried, including .228. I don't like upgrading, either, because of having to re-register all the 3rd party apps every time. I think .234 was worth it, and hope I don't have to upgrade soon again.

There were some definite issues with audio and video that have been fixed in .234. Sling Player for BB audio/video would get out of synch with a couple of the builds after .219. This is fixed in .234. There has been an on-going issue with Media Player volume settings when using a wired headset. The volume would reset to about 50% after each song. Killed me when I was trying to sleep in airplanes. This is definitely fixed in .234. First time I have seen a headset icon in the volume control. Could have been in earlier releases but I didn't see it till this one.

As has been mentioned, Live Search still not working in this release. But with so many other good search applications out there, I am not missing a MS app on my BB. ;)

Going back to .216 after three days of .234...

Tired of getting the "white screen of death" when I pull the Bold out of my belt-clip holster, and the much diminished battery life!

I'm done with beta builds.
