Glad I skipped that one. I had a feeling there would be a new one soon. Was easy to find too. Unfortunately I won't have time to install until tomorrow.
Looking forward to some updates!

This is the first beta that hasnt' gone through enterprise activation after installation. It just was recognized be the BES immediately.

I find that very hard to believe.
Doing any OS upgrade on a BES enabled BlackBerry Device always requires a new Enterprise Activation after the update is complete.
I sincerely doubt this has changed.

Believe me or don't believe me. I have been through multiple betas and this one did not go through any type of enterprise activation. This might be something new but this is a first for me.

The EA must occur.
Did you do the upgrade using Desktop Manager which is configured and connected to your BES?
In this case, the EA would happen via USB cable and you probably didn't even notice that it happened.

There's no way that you could be activated on the BES without having gone through an EA of some type (wired or wireless).

This was one of the faster 4.5+ upgrades. 43 minutes from start to finish. It does do a wireless activation after the upgrade is complete, as have all 4.5+ using a 4.5 desktop manager connected to your BES.

Nope. After the OS finished installing, it immediately started getting my Outlook messages and started getting the ATT media service books. Never once did activation appear. Checked the BES and it shows what I sent a screenshot of. Desktop Manager was closed and the phone was unplugged and I never set a wireless activation password.
