I want Jabber on my BlackBerry.

So I tried out IM+ on my 7290. I've tried both the BES version and the WAP version; (I'm using T-Mobile USA and BES4.0).

9 out of 10 attempts to even run the program leave me with a screen saying it's connecting.

Right now I'm stuck with "Connection to AOL Failed Reason: Connection Failed" and it has never once signed onto AIM.

It did sign onto my Jabber server once, but I was getting every message three times, making it unusable and impossible to follow a conversation.

Even better, right now it is wedged, and when it does this, the only way to STOP running IM+ is to power cycle the device.

Steer clear of IM+ until they get the software actually working.

I really wish VeriChat would use Jabber. Sigh.

It has been working just fine for me. In fact its been such a better service since 2.0 was released.

Just my 2 cents.

Drat! Using 2.0 it is just amazingly unreliable. I wonder if it is somehow being annoyed with other applications I have installed?
