Can this be installed OTA? I've gone to options/advanced options/wirless updates. All it does is says checking for updates and that never leaves the screen. Laptop crashed about a week ago so an OTA update would be great right about now.

I was not able to upgrade via OTA. I did the same thing and it came back with 'no update available'. Had to hook 'er up to my PC and do the upgrade.

It worked!!! I got a message about 6 hours later on my home screen that a OS update was available. Took about an hour to install. Up and running with no problems. So OTA works folks!

Great news and it must have been an exciting experience. Bummer for me as I did the PC install and lost the ability to do the OTA downloads. The application disappeared from my options. Everything went well though other than that.

It works find, but the main thing I am looking for is a fix to the bug of no audio on Contact Alerts when holstered. Same problem exists in .53. UGH.

I would give 5.0.0.230 another try, but all the links look to be gone.

Did you try turning vibrate off for contact alerts? Seems that if it is set to vibrate, that over-rides the sound.

I dowloaded OTA but I sent the request via the BES, it worked great and no issues.

Hm, I don't know whats up with this but I can't get it to install. I've downloaded it, installed, deleted the vendor file, but still no luck :(
