I've seen threads note issues with sound profiles and stuf like that. But haven't read about the issue I'm having unless its jist noting my issue ina different way. I set my sms to Volume 2 and its loud as heck as if it was on set volume 9? Why the heck does it do this and what can I do to fix it? Is it a bug?

I think that means that it isn't paying any attention to your setting of 2 and is reverting back to the normal profile. I found the same thing until i made a custom profile

I am having the same problem with me. It seems it reverts back to the highest setting.
