Hey as title states, can someone host a app for me to download OTA for me...

its a free program just cant load it via DM at the time... thanks!!

There is a free service at hostj2me.com that will allow you to post any and download any OTA files you want. It is configured correctly to load OTA for the BlackBerry. I have been using it and it works wonderfully.

Just sign up for a free account and you get 5 MB free to host anything you want.

Anything that can be made OTA can be installed right off the media card, BTW. I don't use DM to install anything...

But how? Can you please provide step by step instructions?

The instructions to load a JAD file are posted all over this forum...

Simple as downloading the JAD file to your PC, then move it to your Media Card, say create a folder on the Card named 'misc'.

Then open your Media icon > menu > explore > locate the file and click on it and follow your install prompts from there.

Additionally, there's a Windows tool someone wrote here on the forums for downloading OTA files to install from your media card, as well as the script I wrote that works on Linux & OS X. Give a quick search e$h and you should find them...
