Default Threaded SMS (BBText2IM) Final Beta w/CDMA Sprint/Verizon support.

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everybody. This is beta 0.9. I have added support for archiving conversations via email. I've added TOTAL font/screen color customization in the main program, and in individual conversations. I've added support for CDMA devices on Sprint/Verizon. Since I do not have such a device, we'll see if it works. This beta is good for 7 days, after which the application will be up for sale on the popular online stores. If you'd like to give some input as to pricing, feel free.

You can OTA download the app here :
http://www.wheatoncs.com/blackberry/.../BBText2IM.jad

You can get the BlackBerry Desktop download the here. Just unzip the zip file and install the .alx file.
http://www.wheatoncs.com/blackberry/.../BBText2IM.zip

To customize the main program:
Click the application (menu) key from the main screen and select 'Edit Program Preferences'.

To customize individual conversations:
Click the application (menu) key from the conversation you want to customize and select 'Edit (name)'s Preferences', where (name) will be the name of the party you are conversing with.

I have Sprint and I'm able to send sms messages through the app, but when I receive them, it's just going into my normal sms inbox instead of the application.

I can send out of it, but my messages come back into my regular inbox and never touch the program.

I am T-Mobile

Since you said so, here's my input: I really couldn't justify spending more than $5 on this. I know lots of themes and applications are priced higher, but I feel most of those are overpriced, and the only program I'd consider getting and worth the price is GetItBack, which lets you find your lost phone (justifying the cost for those who are prone to losing things).

That said, even that $5 would require you to sort out the notifications issue. Can you still not prevent txts being marked unread in the main messages app?

Try a battery pull, I had to do that to get it working. Still dissappointed that the notification icon issue is still present....I text to much and rely on the icon so I can't use your app. Would love to though.

its a very nice app but it would be go if i could use that instead of the normal BB text messaging. but since both of them still work at the same time it gets annoying haveing to go clear my other texts even tho i read them on your app

Wirelessly posted (8130 Pearl (Sprint))

Very neat program.
But the thing with the inbox notification still gets me. If you could find a way to change that, I would for sure buy this program

I did a battery pull and now the program is seeing the incoming SMS messages.

Do you plan on updating this application to look a little better in terms of font options?

I would like the ability to have a different color for the names versus the actual message text, like the way BB Messenger does it.

Also, the ability to change font size, etc. would be nice.

on my Verizon 8330 curve it appears some keys don't work... but work in any other app.

E,R,T,Y,B,N are the keys that don't work

Also, recieving comes to my normal sms box, and sending does nothing.

I did pull the battery...

Please try a reinstall of the application. I made some fixes to hopefully solve the 'ignored keys' issue.
