Default Chances of getting my NEW sprint 8830 exchanged?

I bought my second 8830WE at CompUSA (long story on first) they are going out of business and ALL sales are final, meaning no exchanges, returns, NADA.

My luck, the 8830 is having lcd issues...I know the phone is operable, i can put it into standby mode or when the lcd goes dark it will come back, but obviously this is not normal.

I have everything receipt,box, etc...What are the chances of going with everything to a corporate sprint store and having them exchange it there for a NEW one?

I could go to an authorized sprint retailer and they can order me a REFURBISHED one since i have the TEP but damnit i dont want a refurbhished one..I want a new one

When my 7100i went bad they gave me a new one. But I had the insurance. Do you?

Als you usually have 30 days with any new phone. Going out of business or not the product is defective. Either CompUsa will exchage it as new or Sprint will. I find that the Sprint Service Centers are better than the corp stores for this and they are usually very nice folks.

I do have the insurance I was actually able to add it to my plan earlier today...regardless of insurance I feel within 30 days someone needs to exchange it for me since the retailer won't the manuf should. :(

The sprint corp people are rubes sometimes but the service center folks are top notch. call the 800 number for sprint ans ask for the closest one to you. They have phones on site to trade out. I did it and they are really decent folks.

I went to two sprint centers today they both told me had to go to a corp sprint store...I just read on sprints return policy they won't accept any returns done from companies outside sprint owned...jeez that sucks...I wonder if I should tell them that's the secnd phone I get from the spherion insurance group

Actually you should go to store. No returns etc is for any reason other than defective product. I successfully returned a item that was under same terms for same reason.
